My experience with AmzSpecial

I just stumbled across this site, and have not yet signed up with them.

*One huge notable trait about this site is that they do not require you to leave a review for the product you received. Straight from their FAQs:

Do I Need To Leave A Review?
While we encourage and appreciate participation in the Amazon feedback and review system, unlike many other clubs out there it is not a required part of your membership with AmzSpecial Club. Our sellers appreciate your comments more than you will ever know however we will never penalize you or otherwise limit your membership in any way if you choose not to participate in the review system.

There is also no log in area for this site. Coupled with the fact that you are not required to leave reviews and won’t be checked up on, this sounds a lot like an email-only review site. Meaning, they send you an email, you say you want the product, you get a coupon to buy it, and that’s it! No logging in to post your review or any of that other tediousness some review sites make you go through.

Other review sites that are email-only: VIP Power Club, Lucky 21, Brand Aware Club, and Giveaway Nation. View all email-only programs.

Also leads me to believe that if the Seller paying them to promote their product is not guaranteed reviews, I highly doubt any Seller with products worth more than $20 is going to give them away without getting a guarantee of an 80-90% review ROI.

“But they list some $40 products on their homepage!” I saw that too, checked Amazon, and found this product for $10, not the “Normal Price: $35.99” they have listed (which is the retail price, not what the product is ‘normally’ sold at.)

Personally, I won’t be signing up for them, but don’t let that stop you! If you have, please feel free to leave your experience below in the comments section.

I received my first deal in my inbox for 85% off a product. It has been less than 6 hours since I signed up for the program. It looks like a pretty cool little gadget that I never would have thought to shop for, but that I can absolutely use. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Is this no longer free? I see a $0.99/month under sign up now. If no longer free than can you please update? TIA.

Would be nice if you could give readers a bit more information on why they shouldn’t sign up for this. It’s not really fair to the program or to those that want to sign up to say this without any context.
