Overview of BuView
They claim to have product available for review in categories such as “Electronics, Beauty Products, Consumer Goods, Accessories, Clothing, Software, Food, Home Goods, Toys, Retail, and many others.”
Nowhere is Amazon mentioned. They do mention “websites, social boards, blogs, so forth” as a means for posting reviews. Sounds like the Seller gets to state how and where the reviews/feedback are posted. This program sounds like it it would be better suited for Reviewers with more than just Amazon accounts.
This is the first review site I’ve seen where they talk about NDAs: “Some vendors may require that the selected BuViewer sign a nondisclosure agreement [NDA] prior to beginning the review.” There is nothing wrong with this, just mentioning it in that I have not see any other programs that deal with products requiring reviewers to NOT talk about the product they are reviewing.
Writing reviews
Writing reviews and feedback sounds a bit more scripted than other sites as well. From their FAQs:
How should I write my BuView?
Each Vendor will provide a list of questions they desire to be BuViewed along with a section for your personal opinion. These questions are not simple yes, no, true, false, like or dislike. The BuViewer is to provide a written and detailed evaluation and examination, and is encouraged to freely provide their unedited opinion of the product or service.
Verified BuViewer—you can get paid?!
There is even a “verified BuViewer” status that requires you to send in a picture of your ID. The FAQ goes on to say “To be a BuViewer, you do not need to verify yourself if you don’t desire to do so. However, Non-Verified users earn only $10 per project and are limited on the projects they receive access to.” Wait!? You can get paid to review product with this site? Why is this not mentioned anywhere else on their site? Color me confused. If you understand how this site operates, please fill us in using the comments below.

I just signed up and they asked alot of questions but nothing too hard and then there’s a section you can write info about yourself. Basically they want to know about you. They do give you a choice to request Paid products or Non-Paid products. I am waiting to complete my registration so when I do, I’ll update you.
I tried to sign up for them but they blocked me before I could complete my application ..
Yes, this site has options to participate in paid and non-paid projects. I have been able to complete my profile and I was verified by uploading a copy of a photo I.D. for review. Now I’m waiting to see what kinds of projects I can get!
Hey, did they ever send you anything yo review?
